Thank you for choosing to commission me! By ordering a commission from me ("the artist", "I"), you ("the client"), affirm to have read and agree to the terms listed below, making this a legally binding contract. I have the right to refuse a commission without explanation. Unless specified beforehand by the client, I will post the commission and any/all social media (username @aoceli across all platforms, and @re_aoceli on twitter). Please note that terms are subject to change without notice, and only the current version will be upheld.

This TOS is aimed to give the client an understanding of the commission process. I want to make you the happiest with your art, so let's be kind to each other! I will be providing the client with a (1) digital custom piece of artwork or (2) traditional painting by request. Upon sending a request, the client is ready to pay the full amount upfront or a 50% non-refundable deposit, which will be discussed prior to the sending of the invoice. Please expect a timeline of five (5) business days unless specified due to Artist's reasons or client's deadline.

Requesting

• Client can use the form ("commission form") to submit a preliminary request or message the artist through DMs or Discord.

• Please provide what you want the artist to draw:

  • Commission Type (see commission catalogue) 

  • Reference materials (client or client's character(s))​

  • Any specifications, such as a pose or background, number of characters, etc. If no specification are given, poses and backgrounds are up to the artist's discretion  

• • Preferred size of canvas (only traditional paintings)

  • Deadline (if applicable)

Usage Rights

I retain the rights to my every image I produce. The client may use artwork for personal use only. In other words, one can use it when they're not making a profit. If the client wishes for commercial rights, this must be discussed prior with the artist. In this case, I will charge a flat fee for lifetime usage. Clients may NOT use the artist's work for NFT or AI purposes.

Please feel free to use on one's own social media accounts, use as a phone/laptop background, or icon/avatar. Be sure to add a link-back to any of the artist's social media accounts.

The client can make minor edits (cropping, adding texts/borders/etc) to the finished artwork. Please do not remove the artist's signature/watermark. In addition, as you, the client, can't claim my art as your own in any circumstance, I, the artist, do not claim ownership to any of the characters/subjects portrayed in the commission and belong to their respective creator(s).
