Portfolio Reflection
Looking Back
Now I have a cool website that showcases who I am and what I stand for. I enjoy being creative and making websites so putting this portfolio together was a nice challenge. It was hard to choose what pieces to add and what to say about each one, but it was fun to be able to look back at all the work I've done. This portfolio is a great example of important subjects that make up feminism and feminist studies: Intersectionality, Praxis & Feminist Engagement, and Systematic Oppressions. I also wanted to include a section that was most personal to me: Feminism Through Art. It was a bit hard putting different works into these categories because they all tie into each other at various points.

Our world right now seems to be going backwards, especially with the overturning of Roe v. Wade and attacks on transgender rights. However, being able to study with my peers has shown me that there are people who want to change the world for their future AND the future that comes after us. And that itself gives me hope and excitement to go into the "real world" and make it.

I am so thankful to my professors Lena, Charlene, and Don for teaching me, so thank you. I am also so very thankful for my friends and family who have supported me through these four years.

Making this portfolio has made me proud of the work I have done, the person I'm growing into.

Much love,
